Twilight Eclipse – Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart currently have what could be deemed a near fairy-tale romance. And it all started with that first little film in the now-wildly popular series known as The Twilight Saga. It’s likely that neither Pattinson or Stewart could have predicted the overwhelming success of their vampire movies, nor that they would be embarking on a sensational personal relationship saga of their own. Hollywood Life breaks down their most romantic milestones in a love story that really started about four years ago when they first explored their roles as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. It may have been love at first sight, at least on-screen, as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart certainly piled on plenty of romantic chemistry for their characters, Edward and Bella. Good actors, yes. But there was definitely more happening behind the scenes, too, even though Stewart had been dating another hot topic, Michael Angarano.(However, he obviously proved no match to Pattinson’s hunky British charm.) As Hollywood Life reports, the rumors about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s on-screen turned off-screen chemistry really started flying during the filming of New Moon, after a series of almost under-the-radar flirtatious looks and subtle romantic advances are captured during press cycles. Then came Eclipse, which Twi-hards will know features even more intense love scenes.

At the time of that film’s press tour, it was widely thought that R-Patz and K-Stew were in fact a couple, even though they kept their rumored relationship tightly guarded under lock and key (and still do, actually!). Of course, the culmination of this blockbuster love storyso far, at leastmight just have to be Breaking Dawn, of which the highly anticipated first part recently premiered. Buzz for the movie was at its peak, and it’s no wonder given Edward and Bella’s steamy romance factor, the wedding and more. Pattinson and Stewart still keep their relationship under wraps and avoid sharing too much information, but there’s no denying their strong couple status. They haven’t yet followed in their Twilight characters’ footsteps all the way to a wedding and honeymoon, but it’s possiblethat is, if their real life keeps imitating art!

Twilight Eclipse – Breaking Dawns cast at a news conference at Comic-Con 2011 International. (MCT Campus) Forever is only the beginning claims the tagline of the new Twilight movie. And, my God, is that just the ultimate horrible and ironic truth in the abominable film Breaking Dawn. Unfortunately for the audience, forever does not even begin to describe how long and drawn-out this chapter in the Twilight saga really is. Picking up where the lastand much more bearablefilm Eclipse left off, Breaking Dawn begins with a yawn, plods along slower than a snail, and does not pick up any steam until literally the final five minutes. (To say the least, this is a problem for a nearly-100-minute movie.) Indeed, the movie has almost no plot, no concept of pacing, and terrible acting from much of the cast (although leads Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have thankfully honed their skills considerably since the first film). However, these complaints only scratch the surface of Breaking Dawns flaws, as the nonsensical subtext to the movie is the most grievous offense of all. First, I will start with what few positives exist in this film.

After all, the hype for these movies is huge, so there has got to be a point, right? Thankfully, the production value of Breaking Dawn is top-notch, as the budget has been largely increased, and the cinematography is all-encompassing and beautiful. Furthermore, I give Breaking Dawn some recognition for Most Awesome Soundtrack That Does Not Belong in a Crappy Movie, as Iron & Wine, Bruno Mars, Angus & Julia Stone, and Christina Perri are a few of the talents that contribute to the film. However, these contextual elements are where my praise becomes limited, as the rest of the film is a mess. Starting with the very beginning, Breaking Dawn has literally nowhere to go story-wise. In fact, you could describe the entire story arc (yes, the quotation marks are necessary) of the film in one sentence Edward and Bella get pregnant on their honeymoon, which ticks off a lot of people. Seriously, NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS IN THIS MOVIE! My biggest complaint with the film is the overall tone and general meaning behind the lack of story and terrible dialogue. Breaking Dawn seems to proclaim that marriage is miserable, weddings are depressing, sex is scary and leads to instant pregnancy, and finding true love will cost you your family, friends, health, and safety.

Hooray! Life is awful! Obviously, I know this isnt supposed to be some sort of hidden message film, and Im sure the filmmakers dont believe all of this but I have to question why they made the movie so incredibly dull, lifeless, and grim. And why do so many fans swoon over the supposed romance of the film? Someone help me out? Breaking Dawn is not a good movie. It is nonsense. On a positive note, the film ends, and it ends with at least a little sign of life (pun intended) that signals a lot more action to come in Part II next summer. I am four movies into this series, so at this point it is pretty much a matter of escalating commitment that keeps me seeing these films. Here is to hoping that the final chapter will actually tell a story.

This movie earned 1.5 out of 5 bulldogs.

Twilight Eclipse – Image Credit Andrew Cooper Summit Entertainment announced Tuesday that The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 has so far grossed 508 million worldwide, reaching the 500 million milestone in a mere 12 days. (The record holder, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, crossed 500 million in six days.) While Summit wouldnt reveal how many days it took New Moon and Eclipse to pass the same mark, we do know that all three movies hit 500 million sometime in between their second and third weekends. New Moon ultimately wound up with a worldwide tally of 709.8 million, while Eclipse finished its run with 698.5 million. (The original Twilight settled for only 392.6 million.) It appears likely that Breaking Dawn Part 1 will also finish with a worldwide figure of around 700 million. Domestically, however, Breaking Dawn Part 1 is performing a tad below its two most recent predecessors. The fourth entry in the romantic supernatural series has so far drained 223.4 million domestically in 11 days. By comparison, New Moon had collected 233.3 million during the same span of time, while Eclipse had earned 227 million. But even if Breaking Dawn Part 1 ultimately falls a bit short of New Moon and Eclipse domestically, the films beefy numbers overseas should make up the difference.

Twilight Eclipse – Crazed movie fans showed up last night to Green Valley Cinemas in Watsonville for the midnight showing of The Twilight Saga Breaking DawnPart 1. The only thing is these fans werent standing in line for one movie, but instead it was a double dose of vampires and werewolves. Green Valley Cinema had a special treat and a warm-up movie, Eclipse, the most recent Twilight Saga movie and was shown on two screens at 9 p.m. A Green Valley Cinema employee who chose to remain anonymous said there was approximately 800 people who showed up for the event. Children, women and men of all ages were all theresome even wore pajamas and brought their blankets along with them. During an intermission break before the start of Breaking Dawn people stormed out into the lobby to refill on hot buttered popcorn, sweet candy and refreshing cold soft drinks. There were groups of people who talked with excitement in their voice and even some who whispered into their buddies ear about the new movie thats about to come up.

Leslie Madrigal, 19, and Daniela Vasquez, 18, both from Watsonville were at Green Valley Cinema before the start of Eclipse and stood in line for approximately 5 hours to secure seats at the debut showing. Ive watched them all already, so I had to keep watching. You just get intrigued, you just keep going, Madrigal said about the new film. I read the books so it just was interesting to come and see the movie, Vasquez said. Her favorite book of the Twilight Saga is Breaking Dawn.When the clock showed a quarter to midnight, the staff behind the snack bar was close to serving their last scoop of buttered popcorn. Family, friends and couples walked together in the hallway and to their seats to finally watch the main attraction.

Twilight Eclipse – Both Robert Pattinson (”Edward Cullen”) and Taylor Lautner (”Jacob Black”) have been nominated for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards. Pattinson has been nominated for “Favorite Movie Actor,” and Lautner has been nominated for “Favorite Action Movie Star.” The Twilight Saga film franchise wasn’t included on any of the movie nominations, but that’s simply because none have been released since the last People’s Choice Awards show, which took place this January and honored The Twilight Saga Eclipse and Kristen Stewart. I feel like everyones kind of watching and waiting saying What are these kids going to do? So Im just taking full advantage of being able to take things at a very steady pace and figure them out as I go. Twilight Eclipse – Canadian indie rockers Metric will add another notable film to their soundtrack resum which boasts recent contributions to Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World and a theme song for Twilight Eclipse when they team up with Academy Award-winning composer Howard Shore for the score to Cosmopolis, a forthcoming adaptation of Don DeLillos 2003 novel of the same name. Directed by fellow Toronto-based Canuck David Cronenberg and starring TwilightsRobert Pattinson, Emily Haines and co. said the films themes are right in tune with the overall mood of the world at the moment, in an announcement on their website. As of now, details are scarce (Cosmopolis is said to hit screens early next year), but well update this post when the full tracklist and further info are available. Twilight Eclipse – Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the franchise, is teaming up with NCM Fathom for events called “Twilight Saga Tuesdays,” where the each of the three “Twilight” films released so far will be screened for one night at participating theaters. There are over 700 theaters nationwide participating for the event, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which will kick off on November 1 with “Twilight,” the first film in the franchise. “The Twilight Saga New Moon” will bow on November 8 and “The Twilight Saga Eclipse” will be shown on November 15. Each event will begin at 730 p.m. local time. In addition to the screening of the films, the event will also include introductions from cast members, as well as interviews and behind-the-scenes content. A full-length trailer for “The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ was released in September and can be seen below.

The film, the first part of the fourth installment in the fantasy romance series, depicts the wedding of Swan, a human, and vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson, and the consequences of their union. Swan discovers she is pregnant. Her unborn baby is half-vampire and grows rapidly, taking a devastating toll on her body. The “Twilight” series is based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer. Twilight Eclipse – The band revealed the collaboration on its official site (via The Playlist). The quote goes We just confirmed we will be working with our favorite film composer Howard Shore on the score for a new David Cronenberg movie starring Robert Pattinson, minus the vampires! Its an adaptation of the book Cosmopolis by Don DeLillo, and the themes are right in tune with the overall mood of the world at the moment. In Cosmopolis, the rat has become a unit of currency! The root of this collaboration is likely the bands work on the music for The Twilight Saga Eclipse, for which Metric also worked with Shore. Im generally indifferent to Metric, but tying another Metric/Shore collaboration to a Cronenberg movie is something I want to hear. Cosmopolis is in post-production now, and should be released sometime in 2012. In addition to Pattinson, it stars Juliette Binoche, Samantha Morton, Jay Baruchel, Paul Giamatti, Sarah Gadon and Mathieu Amalric.

They were part of a purported vampire cult, with one teenage girl calling herself a vampire/werewolf hybrid. Psychologists have long understood how women in general desire strength in men, but few could have imagined how this natural and overriding need by young ladies would be used in modern times to seduce them of their innocence using mysteriously strong yet everlastingly damned creatures depicted in popular books and films like Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, publisher Thomas Horn said in a statement. Consider as an example popular youth-oriented magazines like Rolling Stone and their article The Joy of Vampire Sex. Look at the mnage–trois on the magazines cover of three nudes bathed in blood with the promise to readers that vampires are Hot. Theyre Sexy. Twilight Eclipse – With Breaking Dawn Part 1 coming into theatres on November 18th, Summitt is going to build buzz for the film by having a revival of the franchise on Tuesdays through the month. You can click here to see which theatres will be showing the film. The original Twilight will bow on Nov. 1, The Twilight Saga New Moon on Nov. 8, and The Twilight Saga Eclipse concludes on Nov. 15 right before the release of the first half of the final film in the franchise. Twilight Eclipse – Attention, Twi-hards The time has come to start parting with more of your money. The Utah-based Megaplex Theatres chain will start selling tickets to The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn, Part 1, the fourth movie in Stephenie Meyers sparkly-vampire romance series, tonight at 1159 p.m. At the Megaplex 17 at Jordan Commons, at 9335 S. State St. in Sandy, Twilight fans can make an evening of it, with a 9 p.m. celebration that includes a free screening of the third movie, The Twilight Saga Eclipse. There also is a Second Honeymoon Sweepstakes, in which a trip to Hawaii will be given away. Attendees at the Jordan Commons event will receive wristbands, which will allow them to be the first to secure tickets for the midnight premiere of Breaking Dawn, Part 1, set for the early morning hours of Friday, Nov.

18. Other Megaplex locations also will have VIP Premiere Parties, where fans can buy tickets online for the Nov. 18 release.
