Unfortunately, sad but true the music to the soundtrack to the second Twilight movie, New Moon, out in November, will sadly not feature the star.

Although its not all bad news the Twilight Eclipse soundtrack  does includemusic from  Muse, Thom Yorke and Editors.

However, Pattinson has revealed he is in the process of writing some songs which he hope can be considered for the third instalment of the franchise, Twilight Eclipse .

“I don’t know if it will be possible because of my schedule, but I want to do it,” he was quoted as telling Joy magazine about the Twilight Eclipse Movie.

“Music is the other side of me, it’s one of the things that complete me and I wouldn’t want to leave it aside for anything in the world.”

The actor added: “I have the intention of evolving in that aspect. It’s something I want to develop just as much as acting. I want to have a balance between those two things.”

Twilight Eclipse actress Jodelle Micah Ferland admitted she wasnt up to speed on the twilight saga but that has all changed as she has managed to get a major role in the upcoming latest movie Twilight Eclipse

Since seeing the first film with a few friends and auditioning for the movie, she has borrowed and read all four books.

“I hadn’t heard much about Twilight Eclipse when it first came out,” she said in a recent interview from her home in  Vancouver.

“I’m home-schooled so sometimes I don’t hear about things like that. But my friends were all freaking out about Twilight and I was like ‘What’s that?’”

“Now I know what it is obviously,” she laughed.

“I got about 2,000 new followers on the first day,” she said — from young actor to global phenomenon with the flick of a switch.

“I got Twitter just a couple of weeks ago and I had 136 followers and I was like ‘Wow, I have 136 followers,’” she said. “And then the Twilight Eclipse news came out and we checked and it was 800 and something right away.”

“I started freaking out, I couldn’t believe it.”

The young actress has been working in film and television since the age of two,  first film was  at the age of four (Mermaid) and playing the lead in a suspense thriller (Silent Hill). She has worked with Renee Zellweger, appeared on Late Night With Conan O’Brien and just wrapped The Cabin in the Woods written by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Drew Goddard (Lost), but nothing of the magnitude of the Twilight saga.

“I’m so excited,” giggled Ferland. “It’s not that I didn’t think I would get the role, it’s just that things like this never happen. I’m still having a hard time believing it.”

Eclipse will be Ferland’s second time working with Twilight Eclipse star Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, the mortal teen who falls for vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.

Stewart and Ferland aslo starred in the movie The Messengers, a film about children who can see  supernatural horrors. Ferland admits she is often cast in mostly horror films and television shows with a ghostly edge. Indeed, her list of acting credits is as long as her arm.

“I’ve never played a vampire before so I am really excited about that,” she said.

“I’m not allowed to say, but I can tell you I am playing a newborn vampire,” she confirmed. “But I’m not a newborn, I’m newly turned; some people don’t get that.”

“I don’t know, but that would be fun,” she said.

“Usually I read the script before I take a role, but I haven’t read this one,” she explained. “It’s Twilight Eclipse, of course I’m going to take it.”

“Some people say that would be so great to be famous and have people ask for your autograph and that does happen in acting if you get really famous,” she said. “I can’t say it’s something I’m looking forward to, but I won’t hide.”

Great news Twilighters news sources straight in, Eclipse third Twilight film has officially begun filming in Canada according to Summit Entertainment has just announced.

(Do we think Lefevre, pictured here at Comic-Con, already knew?) Summit Entertainment cited a scheduling conflict, which UPDATE: Lefevre has now confirmed is a role in the independent movie Barney’s Version (starring Dustin Hoffman and Paul Giamatti, according to IMDB). She says she was “stunned” by Summit’s decision not to accommodate her 10-day commitment to Barney’s during Eclipse’s production, which will run more than three months. While this could support one of the alternate theories running on our News Briefs blog — producers wanted to replace Lefevre with an actress they believe could better embody Victoria’s wrath (which I could buy) — some in the media are expecting fans to be outraged because “They don’t want anything to change in their Twilight Zone.” Personally, I’m not that upset for what this means as a moviegoer (though hearing Lefevre say she was blindsided does make me sad for her as a human). UPDATE #2: Summit has released a statement claiming it was the one blindsided when it found out, only on July 20, that Lefevre would need to miss rehearsal and days of principal photography on Eclipse, which begins shooting in early August.

Maybe I’m not up in arms because I enjoyed the books more than the first film, and still, when I picture the characters in my mind, don’t actually see the actors. I envision something more like the sketches from a-ha’s “Take On Me” video, and they’re in erasable ink so I can tweak them page-to-page, moment-to-moment. Perhaps I’ll grow more attached to the cast after The Twilight Saga: New Moon hits theaters (especially if its script is better than the first film’s), but at this point, the only supporting player I’d be seriously bummed by Summit replacing would be Billy Burke. You actually got to know his character, Bella’s dad Charlie, enough in the first movie to get attached — unlike any of the vamps, save Edward — and his acting was perfectly adequate, so what would be the point? (Before you pounce: I would be somewhat disappointed to see Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser, Carlisle and Esme, go; but I still have to look up the names of the other Cullens actors.)
